Was not there therefore I can't judge the shooting. Him leaving was wrong maybe, but I can't judge that either since I was not there and don't know the whole story.
I almost shot a woman a few years ago, that was picking berries. She was wearing a fur parka. Beaver skin, same color as a grizzlie bear. She was down on allfours picking blue berries, in the same meadow where I had shot a Black Bear the evening before. Yes native women do wear fur coats while doing things outside in the interior, it's the only coat they usually have. Luckily I was not in a hurry and wanted to get a better look before shooting. She stood up then and gave me a good look at her face. I got so scared when I realised how close I had come to shooting this woman.
I went and yelled at her husband, told him how close I had come to shooting his wife. His comment: "Shoot the _____ I told her not to wear that coat!" And he walked off. Therefore I don't always blame the shooter, sometimes the blame can lie with the person that got shot, and the shooter is the victum.
Not saying that about this case, just that we don't know all the facts. I can't pass judgement.
