G2 forearms

I have an old style contender handgun that I want to make into a rifle.  I know the stock will not interchange on the G2 and the old style guns but will the G2 forearms work on the old style guns if I buy a G2 barrel.  I cannot live with the look of the old style forearms.  Thanks

Because the foreends attach directly to the barrel and the barrels are interchangeable the fore ends are the same. You will want to check the hole spacing as TC found it necessary to change that up bewteen different length of barrels. The foreend does not contact the frame at all.
