Since I got some time off, went fishing (what else is there??).
Headed into a small North Georgia reservoir that I recently discovered and found crappie suspended at bridge. Well I used up all the minnows I brought along catching about 20 crappie plus couple of bass, and 2 fish that were so big they snapped the line at the hook.
Planned to catch and release cause did'nt want to mess with cleaning
but there were a couple of 12 in crappies in the group.
Well, next week I'm free and plan to go to North Carolina mountains and bring along the kayak,fishing gear for a week.
If anyone can recommend good crappie places let me know as I'd love some fast fishing action in small waters.
