What Size Sims Recoil Pad?

Hey guys,

What size Sims Limbsaver Gring to Fit recoil pad do I need??

I have a new Handi in 45-70.  Straight stock?  

Anyone installed one of these on this stock?  Any Tips??

Small...haven't installed it on a straight stock, but I've installed a couple on monte carlos. I just grind the base then taper the sides, leaving the full contour for recoil absorbtion.

Small....after you cut the cup off the stock... :wink: The small slip on works too, but is loose.

If you want a nice looking slip on recoil pad that fits better than the Sims, try the small Galco....it won't be as effective as the Sims, though.

The small Sims is at my local Walmart's (2) for just under a $20 bill....
