My H.S. Precision stock (aluminumn bedding block) is about 20 years old, and the Bell and Carson's are between 10-15 years old, so my comments might not apply. I have not owned a McMillan, but have several B&C's. They are good stocks, especially for a big game rifle. They seem to absorb a bit of recoil, too. The H.S. is better for accuracy, but doesn't handle as well. The H.S. is on my long range varmint gun, a Rem 700 in .22-250.
