Whietail Deer variation

I was hunting in a new area, a lot further south than I usually hunt, and got to see a big doe. (easy better than 200 lbs), up close (20 yards, broadside, no tag    )
Anyway, she was wearing a crew cut! She had black hair about an inch long standing straight up between her ears.
I wish I'd had a camera. (Or a tag) Would have made an interesting mount.

Any stuff like that down south of the border?

Never seen a crew cut but I have seen 3 piebald whitetails, 10 honest to goodness albino white tails (pink eyes and all), AND seven multicolored southen white tails, (the seven were all on the same farm!). Honest! One looked like a calico cat, and two were black and white like holstein cows. Talking to a wildlife expert from the University of Tennessee  I was told the multi colored deer came from a single doe with unusual genes. I have been in the woods with my dad hunting since 1962 in every part of these United States and seen many things.

Never seen a true albino, but I have seen a few Piebalds.
