I was hoping to get your input. I just got a 336W Serial # 98055xxx for $250 at a recent Show. It appears to have been used very little, and from the new prices and used prices I have seen it seems to be a decent price.
Can anbody tell me when this was made and what does the "W" designate?
I figure this will be a pretty good all around rifle and my main pig gun.
Thanks for your help

Your gun was made in 2002.As for the "W" designation,I don't know what it means, but I have only seen "W" lettered guns for sale at Wal-mart.That doesn't mean that's what the "W" stands for for sure, but just a good guess.Hope this helps.

VTDW,they come with hardwood(birch)stock that is walnut finished, maybe thats what it's stands for.I like those guns because they have they forearm cap,if they put a 2/3 mag on them they would really be cool
