Homeade Tumbler???
« on: August 15, 2005, 05:21:31 AM »
I wonder if anyone here has any plans for a homeade tumbler of any sorts??  I know I saw one here made out of an old electric ice cream freezer, but cant find the post now.  Any help or any info will be appreciated.

Most tumblers I've encountered are very well made, and they really aren't all that expensive.  I don't know that it's worth getting involved in a creative activity here.  Just one mans opinion.  Best wishes.

i freind of mine used an old clothes dryer.the heat elements had burnt out but it still spun.he sealed up the holes in the drum and added a bunch of media .he would throw in a couple hundred brass at once.i think he said he could do 500 308 sized brass at a time.seemed to work ok,i remember it was noisy as hell,i don't know how long it took to complete a cycle ,but i remember the brass looked nice after.how big is your reloading room??lol.
