wouldn't it be interesting if nef/marlin/h&R decided to make a single shot
pistol to compete with thompson.

How far off can cva be from a single shot pistol, especially since
they are offering a limited # calibers in rifle barrels for their optima
line.
Dan Deluca aka "warrior1" has passed away.  Dan was a frequent poster here and on several other sites.  He passed away on 12/29/08 from a massive heart attack. RIP Dan.

Unfortunately won't happen. Years ago H&R made a pistol/shotgun. These were quite popular for carrying in the automobile (Sorry, carjacking is an old idea) With the Firearms act of '32 such guns were outlawed....because it foisted on the populance that only outlaws would use 'em...Have we heard that before anywhere????......Story gets long from here but suffice it to say the Feds won't allow H&R/NEF to produce such a gun. Good idea, bad laws.
