does anyone know the width of the dovetail slot for the front sight of the buffclassic?? seems i remember it is not the standard 3/8" or is it?? i may be thinking abt the import sharps rear slot. (ugh to many guns to keep up with). im gonna be using a scope and the barrel i ordered is not gonna have a front sight so i want to go ahead and round up a blank for it and have it ready to install when it gets here.

It's a standard .375" dovetail. I ordered this one from Brownell's...It fits good, although it could be trimmed down a bit to match the contour of the barrel.

My BC barrel arrived with a blank already installed.
