I Havet he Ranger model 357 Trapper.  It' s been a great gun, so far.  I haven't put more than about 300 or 400 rounds through it, both 38 spl, 38 spl +P and 357 Mags.  I haven't had a problem, and it's more accurate than I thought it would be.  The best part it is Extremely FUN to shoot.  I think anyone would like it, if they gave it a chance.  The 357 Mag can do a heck of a lot.  The 38's are like shooting big 22 LR's.  NO recoil.  Get one.

Love my Trapper!

Mine will feed .38 full wadcutters through fat .357 mags. Factory.

I bought two new cartridge guides and opened them up to take big, fat meplat, cast bullets set to 1.82"! Swallows them like a champ!

By outside trimming the first .100 of .360 Dan Wesson brass to .007 case thickness, I get a bunch more bullet in the case, and Cast Performance 187s @ .358" dia. sit right on the rifling. Even better accuracy from an already accurate gun.

If you get one and need more info on what I did, just holler
Thanks to you''uns from WNC,

Tycer
