Hello,
I just got a Millet 1" tube sight to install in the same mount that previously held a K3 Weaver scope.
The scope rings are far apart enough to need the extension be placed under one of them.One end of the sight is completely supported onlly by this extension.
Is this extension strong enough?What are your thoughts on this?

Sounds like you don't have a choice. But you may want to consider a set of Weaver extension rings.

The mount is a Williams,and the extension rings May be still available.
I would like to know if that extnsion is strong enough.

I have a Millet red dot on my 44 Mag and the front ring id half ways on the main tube and the extension. I have not had any problems with about 150 rounds fired.

I forget to add, the benefit of using a red-dot is the light weight. It helps in not having a lot of weight sitting still when the gun recoils. I have used Aimpoint red-dots that only have one ring on my 44 mag with out a problem.
