mainer i have seen several new unfired new 444handi rifles for sale at Gander Mountain stores here in Michigan this summer.they have a nice gray lamo stock on them.Gander Mountain must have them in their warehouse somewhere and the stores are offering them for sale.if you would like one i will check it out for you and PM you with the details.maybe even get one for you and ship it out to your FFL

we need two more people in on this reamer deal and the reamer will end up costing us all $15.00 each. we now have 8 paid people including my self.who else wants in?it would be nice to get 2 more.the last time i checked my PMs we had 10.maybe there will be 2 more on Monday?this is a great deal for those wanting a heavy hitter :grin:

For those interested in a 444 H&R says twist is 1:38 same as the 44 mag so I guess anything that works in a 44mag/445 should work in the 444. Hopping my 265 gr hornadys & 330 gas checks work as well as my marlin 444

Thank you for the tip in Handis in 444. Although we have no Gander Mt stores in Montana, I called the store in Grand Rapids and thru their network they found one for me in Green Bay. The gent that was helping me said it appears to be the last one. And it was on cleareance for $199.97, and the gray stocks is just a bonus. I have a set of the grays on my 45-70 BC and I really like them. Again, Jeff, thank you. You made me a Happy Camper.

thats great that they found one of those 444s.the Grand Rapids store is the one that had them the last time i was there.$199 and some change is a great price on them too.you could sell the gray lamo stocks to someone and pick up a pallet wood stock set and you could make out like a bandit on that deal.the gray lamo stock set does look nice but it doesnt compair to the nice pallet wood :-D
