Just picked up a NIB Vari-X II 2X-7X for $176 with my employee discount...scope was priced at $183. It was the last one they had in stock. Noticed several other Leupolds laying there with prices around $250, but didn't pay much attention to what models they were. Might pay to check your local store, if you shop there, and see what might be laying around in the way of Leupolds. I"ve the same model I just bought mounted on my Ruger #1....bought both in '68 and they both still work just fine.
