pursuit lt peep?
« on: August 18, 2005, 12:08:03 AM »
Hi men, I want to put a peep sight on my Pursuit LT, but no one that I know of makes them for that particular gun. I called Williams and spoke with a rep, and he said that their CVA peep "might" work. Does anyone know for sure? Any help would be appreciated.  Thank's & ROLL TIDE!

I can answer my own question now. I ordered the sight, and know for a fact that the "Williams-WGRS CVA RD" peep sight will fit and work with my Traditions LT 50 cal. rifle. It's a perfect match on either set of pre-drilled scope mounting holes, I used the rear. I haven't shot it yet, but it lined up with the factory rear sight that I have now removed. After shooting, I'll let yall know what I think.  Thank's & ROLL TIDE!

OK, now that I'm getting 3" groups at 100yds., This is how I made it work. I had a  friend at work, mill .100" off the front sight to lower it. Other than that, all I had to do was mount it on the rear scope holes and make a couple of minor adjustments at the range. With more practice, I think I can tighten that up some.  I hope this is helpful to any other Pursuit owners. Thank's and (you know)!
