im new to handis ........i see lots of barrels for sale......question is ......do the barrels need to be fitted to each receiver?

??or once they are fitted will they fit any receiver.....

I believe it really depends on how badly it might fit. But with recently buying a 44Mag barrel that didn't fit well-too much gap between the barrel and receiver-it's an easy fix.
I am finding that most new barrels fit well with most newer receivers.
just my 2 cents.
