Savage 219 trigger?
« on: August 23, 2005, 11:28:43 AM »
Does anyone know how hard it is to lighten the pull on a Savage 219. I found one today that looks good but it has about a 15lb. trigger pull.  Any info would be a great help.

thanks

No way to do it.  But I'll bail you out and take it off your hands.  I had my gunsmith lighten mine up when I had it reblued and cased, he didn't have any problem.  Know that doesn't help if you want to do it yourself.  I have 2 of them, one had a great trigger when I got it.  Great rifles.

I have a 219L in .22 Hornet..
In view of NEF's popularity and Rossi coming on strong.I am very surprised that Savage hasn't reintroduced the 219L...
