Cabellas opened up in Lehi where I live yesterday, and I went in there to look around and get some .45 ACP reloading components. WOW! They have more guns than I've ever seen in one place in my life. One of them was an Ultra .270 with a magniported barrel! :grin: It was only $250. Sheeesh! One of these days when I'll have to go on a spending spree in there. Blame it on my medication :twisted:

I restrained myself though. There's no way I could explain that to my wife. I don't think she'd go for the old "It followed me home" story.

I aplaud your self restraint!! If I had been in your boots, I be sport a new 270!!! Thats why my wife dosent allow me in Cabelas, toooooooo many toy s that I wanna bring home to play with!!!

I've got a Cabelas about 4 hours away and I keep putting off going until I know I can spend a few $. I already spend a pile with them online and in catalogs. For the last couple years I've gotten this giant hard bound master catalog that lives right next to my chair. the pricesaren't that great but man do they have a lot. I know I wouldn't be able to restrain myself !

Hey Fred, it's off the Alpine exit at Thanksgiving point as you go through Lehi, UT. I think it's exit 286. Get off there and go east. You'll see the new road they built. Turn left at the first light and follow everybody else

If you're in the neighborhood, like on a Saturday or something let me know. I live about 15 minutes from there.

I know I would be living in the dog house if cabelas was that close to me, i couldn'r restrain myself either. I get the hard bound catalogs as well & the pages are well dog eared :lol:

I think as much of a problem as it is, there is medication you can take for self restraint in that place.
