FWIW, the redfield BLR one piece base with the windage adjustment could be made to work using the rear mount hole and drilling 2 or 3 additional holes in the base and D&T 2 or 3 additional holes in the barrel, but I don't think it would be much of an advantage and the windage adjustable base is known to damage scope tubes unless aligned perfectly. Any way ya look at it, it would require at trip to a smith and cost a bit at $20 a hole for the D&Td holes.
