1/2 hour before shooting times ended tonight, I saw about 4 Doe working there way towards me, leaned against a tree and they all froze about 40 yeards from me. They knew something was up, but wasn`t sure. The lead Doe(the biggest one) took one step, and all I had was a neck shot on the side. I settled the open sights right in the middle of the neck and let the 90 grains of Goex FFg and BBC 245 grain Ball-Et fly and boom, right down, took out the jugular veign!! Well, I was so deep in the nasty stuff and couldn`t drag her down hill(way too thick and far), too steep up hill. I gutted her and had to leave her, my brother is helping me get her out first thing tommorow morning. He is going to hate me after he sees where she is
Plus, she is over 200 pounds gutted for sure  I posted this delema in the Deer Hunting section about maybe using a pole and rope and shoulder her out? Anyway, she will will well erned after we get her out, and I love my Sidekick and the BBC Ball-Et
Jack.
