Saw an ingraved 700 Remington BDL today and it had a target crown on it.Gun was used but I have never seen a target crown on a small barrel 700 BDL before.Ya'll have any thoughts on the subject? Thanks I am CAL.......

cal it could have been re-barreled or had a new crown cut on it, I had a factory barrel cut back and a recesed crown put on it several years ago it was common back then if the crown was off. :D   JIM

I thought about that myself Jim.If it was it is a beautiful job.I have a pretty critical eye when it comes to looking for turn marks or disassembly marks,and the like.Thanks for your input.I am CAL.....
