Old mec, will not crimp!!!
« on: May 29, 2006, 05:27:03 PM »
I haven't successfully made one 12 ga. shell with an old mec loader I came across. I have never loaded shotshells before, but I understand the process.  all parts are their, and everything goes fine until the final crimp.  I have tried every adjustment I thought possible! :x  If anyone can help me PLEASE DO! I think it's a jr. modle. You will have to be very specific for me to understand    Thanks.

Do you have the manual? It should cover your problems (or maybe not). If you don't have the manual, you can download one for free here:

Explain in as much detail as you can or better yet show us a photo and we'll try to help. Until we know what it is doing it's hard to tell you what to do to make it do differently.
