Hey all,
Is there any advantage to Nickle plated Brass over regular brass? Thanks in advance!!!

In my experience it cleans easier and looks cooler.

I personly found that the nic. does not last as long as plain brass , but it does look better and does not tarnish like brass

I don't know about nickle brass not lasting as long as plain brass. I have some .38 Special, .38 Super, .357 Magnum and some .45ACP that I have been loading since the middle 1960's. It still works.

When I keep cartridges in my gunbelts I use nickle brass, it doesn't corrode and turn green, and it doesn't rot the leather.

I have never shot Nickel plated brass, This is why I ask! A friend has some he wants to sell I think I'll Buy it ...

Hi
I have a friend that loves it. Because they are easier to find, when they are on the ground. But they don't work real well, ie. 357mag down to 256mag. Also they look weird if you forget them in the tumbler tooooo long. I use them to identify different rifles. I shoot nickel cases in my silhouette rifle and brass in my hunter class silhouette rifle.
