My 28 gauge barrel got here today do you guys have any suggestions for which shells work best?

Good deal. I'm considering one myself. Which barrel did you get? The 22" or the 26"?

I have one and it will go out with me tomorrow to see if I can find any tree rats. It has yet to bring anything home.

The only brand 28 ga. shot I have seen at my local shops has been the Winchester, #6 shot. I believe it is the Super-x name. I have also read articles praising this load over other available loads. I believe there is another common #6 load out there. Possibly Remington. BuzzKill

Oh it's the 26" barrel and all i can seem to find locally are 7 1/2s
