Handi rifle ejecting

I bought a used Handi .223 Survivor and it does not always eject out the Wolf cases I have been shooting. What would be a possible suspect? These shells look pretty darned cheaply made. Thanks for any help - Gordy.

You're lucky that your rifle will eject any wolf ammo, you need to stick to brass cases if you wan't any kind of relibility

Wolf ammo is dose not cost much, but I would not use it. For factory ammo Win white box worked good and flawless in my handi .223

If you want to save money, don't waste it on any milsurp or Wolf cheap  ammo, cuz ya can't use it in a Handi and ya might as well be throwing your money away. There are some inexpensive factory loaded ammo that have excellent results for many shooters here, but Wolf and milsurp aren't in the mix. PMC and a brand made in South Africa, PMP come to mind...But the gold standard for .223 accuracy is the winchester white box 45gr JHP, sells for $13 a box of 40 or a bit more for a box of 50....Even Walmart carries the 40 packs. Another load is the reman Ultramax ammo. Some shooters have had good luck with the Black Hills ammo in the 55gr and lighter flavors, but some have had case separations with it, too.

  Thanks for all the info, I got a " deal " on ten boxes. I guess I can use them to scare the bill collectors off. The woodchucks are pretty safe. - Gordy.

The owners manual says not to shoot 5.56 military shells regular 223 only. Also twist is best for 55grn or less bullets. I just got my 223 rifle sunday. Will shoot black hills 55gr hornady sx well under ! inch. I only put an old weaver 4.5 power V sires scope on it for bang around coyote gun. Groups smaller that the cross hairs at 100yds. Mine will shoot better if you put your front hand on the sand bag and hold the forarm. Trigger is alittle stiff but no creep. I shot one wolf steel case my buddy gave me , no go stuck in chamber.  The 55grn or bigger are better killer on coyote. My main coyote gun is a 22swift but to exspensive too get abused.
