Range Report

Finally got my Ultra Varmint to the range. Her are the numbers:

Winchester case
Br4 primer
Hornady 50 gr V-max
Varget 26.5 gr
Best group .424 followed by .474 then a .632

Worst
Walmart Remington UMC 55 gr MC
.820 followed by a 1.160 then a .940
All shot a 100 yards

The hand loads by far out shot the Factory
Any suggestions on 223 Remington loads would be greatly appreciated. This is my first time loading the 223.

Oh alright here is my favorite handload for my Ultra .223 handi
 

Bullet: 40 gr V-Max
Powder: IMR 4198  20 grains
Primer: CCI 400
OAL: 2.200     I tried different OAL but like this one the best.

I will have to try that load. I think that the rifle can do better especially if I do my part. I will post my results as soon as I can put together some round.
