You can't shoot them with one arm. I broke my right arm yesterday so now my handi shooting has been put on ice for the time being what am I to do go into handi withdrawls?

Oh man, just before hunting season!! That's not good timing at all....Sorry to hear ya busted your arm, that's certainly no fun in itself, but to have ta go through Handi withdrawals is really bad!!!  I know a one armed fella that shoots just fine with his stubby arm, maybe there's hope if you're ingenious!! He hunts turkey with an X2, works for him.

Witch arm? How did you do it?  I know how something like that feels. Had my leg messed up last May. Thought I mite not make it to the P.Dog shoot. The leg is still not right but is getting better.

:idea2:

Who says you can't...and you might as well try it left handed...you'll just have to relearn how to shoot...it's not going to be easy...but...Handi-holics always finds a way... :D

Sorry to hear about your arm. I've had to go with one arm once also. Wasn't a-lot of fun.

I hate to see a Handi suffer though. So I'll step up and say that I'd be willing to Adopt-A-Handi. I'd take it to the range with me. I'd clean it regularly and basically treat it just like my guns. But when your arm was better I'd ship it back.

What do you say?

Get a set of shooting sticks and use the other arm. It is not that hard. I shoot about as well either way...(neither one real well)...

Sorry to hear about your injury. I too had a hard time shooting about 5 months ago when I fell on a broken piece of glass and slit my right wrist 4 inches long and an inch deep in the worst place. I was very fortunate as to not have hit my artery. Missed by a 1/4 inch   Took me a while to get back but I didn't stress the wound. I started shooting my 22's within 2 weeks or so. Very lightly mind you to see how it felt and if any small bleeding started back up. Small calibers first.
Take your time and don't rush it.   :toast: Here's to your speedy recovery and up shooting soon.

The Choate has a pistol grip, should be able to handle it with one arm..........
