Loading for a 15 inch .270
« on: September 04, 2005, 05:40:51 AM »
I am getting ready to develop a load for my 15 inch Encore in 270.  What is a good load that is not too harsh to shoot.  This will be used for whitetails here in NY.  I am also trying to develop a nice varmint load for coyotes.  Any suggestions of where to start?

the 2004 Hodgdon Annual Manual lists loads from the 90 Sierra HP to the 180 Barnes JRN..the loads may be available from their website also..I'm not sure though..If you don't have that manual give me a shout and let me know what bullet weight you are interested in and I will forward you their loads..
