Rifle Differences?

I am planning on purchasing my first single shot rifle and have been doing a little research on the web. I would like to know the practical differences between the SB2-270 Handi rifle and the SB2-877 Ultra rifle. I sure would appreciate any info from you experienced guys.

The 877 has a laminated stock and 23" barrel compared to the 270's 22" barrel and hardwood stock. The Ultas should come with the Ultra scope rail, too, allows mounting of longer scopes.
