TC DUO-Ring scope mount

Thinking of ordering a TC DUO-RING scope mount for my TC Encore 454 (12 in barrel).
Any comments, good or bad, on this mounting system ?

I have used one on my 44 mag 12 inch barrel for about a year now and only had to reset it once due to the base loosening on the barrel.  Used better thread lock and the problem has not reoccurred.

Scope is a Bushnell 3200 Elite and it has no issues after 2000 rounds.

DUO mount

Mike,
My experience with the Duo mount was unpleasant.  I had one mounted on my 7X30 Waters and at less than 100 rounds I found the rings and base loose.  All screws were originally tight.  I do not use locktight on scope mounting screws.  This is a personal preference.
The 7X30 kicks less than a SRH 454 that I have shot, so I can imagine what could happen.
I replaced the Duo mount with a Refield 3-ring Magnum mount.  I have used the Redfield mount on other guns and have had great luck with these.

don't do it. don't do it. Get a maxima base, or a burris d.d. base. The duo base is crap. Take alot of people's word for it, especially on a heavy hitter.
