30-06 T/C load data from Sierra manual?
« on: September 08, 2005, 06:44:47 AM »
I don't have a Sierra manual.  Could anyone who does have one help me out with  start and max loads for the 30-06 Encore pistol, with either 150-grain or  180-grain bullets, and any likely powders such as, e.g.,  IMR 4350 or IMR 4064?   It would be much appreciated.

bigbrass,
Sorry, but I don't have a Siera manual either.  If you have any manuals that have rifle data for the 06, just start there and work your way up like you would a rifle.  Usually the powders that work best for the rifle length also works best for the handgun length.  You may want to avoid using the slowest powder (or two), but other than that, go have some fun.
