Does Marlin make a lever action rifle strong enough to handle the .500 or .460 Smith & Wesson cartridges?  Does anybody?

seems like the 1895 would be a liable canidate for either of these rounds.

Last year Marlin catologued a guide gun type rifle in 475 Linbaugh and 480 Ruger, not too far off in size from the 460 i think.

We all found out (those of us waiting for the new 475), that Marlin had decided engineering issues and possible low production demand as an excuse for not delivering on their product.  This also happened with the 307 win.
