A fun day at the range
« on: September 10, 2005, 04:08:45 PM »
Our range had a "field day" today.  It was actually a fund rasier, but they had all kinds of activities going on.  It was fun watching my son use my NEF .223 to knock down the bowling pins and steel plates at 100, 150, and 200 yards.  I should probably post this in the Marlin rimfire forum, but I'll include it here too...I think he enjoyed shooting the golf balls at 50 and 100 yards with his Marlin 917vs even more.  Interactive targets are soooo much more fun to shoot at than paper.

Try some paint balls on golf tees with the 17hmr next time, they're a blast, too!!!
