Powder,it gives me more control over working
up the best load for each rifle and is much
cheaper(I shoot my ML's alot).

Loose powder is best in my opinion. More for your money, better load variance for weights. I do like the pellets for a quick load. I found the 90 gr. of loose tripe7 and 2 triple7 pellets have the same point of impact in my Encore at 100 yards.

I'll cast another vote for powder. It's nice to be able to tweak your load that last 5 gr. or so if need be to shoot good groups. Also, you can get around 2000 more grains of powder for $5 less money (pyrodex loose/pellets). The one time cost of the flask, and measure is offset by using a pound of loose powder once. Also, when you take a shot at a deer, and know that you have to wait before tracking, the extra half minute to measure a charge compared to dropping a couple pellets down the bore is a moot point. I mainly use loose because I'm cheap though. Have a good 'un!!

Loose powder is my choice. I have never seen enough advantages to the pellets to offset the much higher price.

Powder is the only way to go. It's way too easy to measure out pre-loads so why waste your hard earned money on pellets when powder will work just as well.

I like the pellets!

They are a lot easier to pick up if you should happen to be a little shaky during that quick reload in the woods and spill your "quick load"!

Now, with various weights of powder pellets, it's pretty easy to work up loads for accuracy!
With Pyrodex, you can get 50 and 30 grain pellets!

Pellets, only use my BP's for deer hunting. If I shot them all the time, would use the loose powder.

I like pellets. I've never seen any noticeable difference in accuracy with a 5 or 10 grain change to a powder charge, but that could just be my shooting! Pellets are much easier for me.

Pellets! More velocity and better acuracy than loose powder for me.
