Will Contender Carbine Walnut Forend suit a 14" barrel?

No it will not fit. The holes are spaced differently. Options are to have a custom forend made or send the barrel off and have new dovetails cut for the carbine spacing. I am thinking about doing the latter since I already have carbine forends and it would be cheaper than the custom forend option.

Why not just drill another hole. Thats what I did.

Or buy the right forend.
