« on: August 28, 2005, 12:02:39 PM »
A 17 cal. walk-in at the Tulsa Gun show. A casting of the chamber looks something like this: Rimless type, Case length 1.054",head dia .308",length to shoulder .844",neck length .246",shoulder dia .286. Best I can due. Boy! I have no Idea what this barrel is. Please help if you can. Thanks . Twyman

That is an odd one. I pulled out the mic's and did some general comparisons, it sounds like something close to a .17 Velo-dog. The problem lies in that case head measurement.  I'm not finding anything to support any type of brass that was ever made with only a .20 +/- head.

How about Head dia of .297? Rim of .301, base to shoulder of .857, neck length of .201 and case length of 1.185?

If those are the dimensions, it is the .17 Libra
