AIM #4 Mk1 Shooter Special

Came in two weeks ago.  Took some time to get around to checking it out.

1942 BSA manufacture, 1949 Maltby FTR.  Spent some time in Ishapore.  Aquired some Savage and Ishy parts along the way.  Not sure about the star on top of the reciever.  I think it is a star with a "W" inside of it.  The mark of the Weedon storage depot.  The barrel is wonderfully spotless.  Should be a great shooter.

Some workers in the armories added their own markings
on occasion, that may be where the star came from.
Kind of like their own "Kilroy Was Here" sort of thing.
How many grooves does the rifling have?. Mine only has
2 that are VERY wide. It shoots Mk VII Ball with deadly
accuracy though. You will probably be very pleased.
