Lone Wolf Tree Stand
« on: September 11, 2005, 05:01:54 PM »
I was thinking about getting the lone wolf alpha sit and climb tree stand.  A guy that my friend works with is selling his for $250.  He said that it is only about a year old and he only used it about 3 or 4 times.  I was wondering what people thought about this stand and if it is a good deal for $250.  Thanks.

$250.00 is a lot of money for any used tree stand.

You can get a brand new summit stand for less with a  5 year warrenty

I know that $250 is pretty expensive for a tree stand, but it is $100 off of what it would cost new.  I haven't seen it yet, but will get to check it out and climb with it before I buy it.  From the reviews I have seen online everybody seems to like how light, sturdy, and quiet it is.  I have also heard that it is pretty easy to backpack.  I was just looking for someone here with some experience with one.  Thanks.
