.300 Win Mag reduced loads?

Hey guys,

I was wondering what kind of powder/loading data you guys use for reduced recoil practice loads.  I am looking into buying a rifle soon, and would like to start loading some up.

I found it best to practice with the loads I intend to shoot for hunting. That way my gun is sighted in with my hunting load. Best thing is to invest in a Past recoil pad. JMHO.  :D

If you want to shoot reduced loads doesn't your load book start out with less volocity loads first. I wouldn't use these loads for real accurate shooting or hunting even tho they would kill at a slower volocity and closer range. :D

Sierra has an 800 number. Give them a call and explain what you want. They will be able to give you some powder/bullet combos that will fill your needs. Sorry, I don't have the number handy, but their website will have it.
