bedding traps in snow

what is the proper way to bed a trap in snow for coyote or bobcat
total for this year so far
3 grinners
2 coyotes
4 coons and
1 skunk

Snow get deeper here than your NM Catcus' and stays for 5 months. No armadillos to trap here either wacky!  :D Ace

Yeh right, I've seen many cactus 8 feet deep, thick and they stay all year long maybe even longer, so there.  I did try your shovel trick and all I can say is that it is a pain in the butt to get them stickers out of your back when they fall on ya. :(    Lay off the armydilldos! :?
