Hi:

Has anyone heard when Savage is coming out with the new Fox Brand of Rifles or shotguns?

I haven't even heard about that before. What is it supposed to be or comprised of?

Their web site says, Fox will be their Flagship quality brand in the future, with no compromise at any level. Doesn't say "when" in the future it will be offered.

In the past the Fox name has been associated only with shotguns. I'm pretty sure they have a line of imported shotguns in the works. Dunno about rifles under the name. Doubt it tho.

I had read that they were planing on importing the russian shotguns under the Stevens logo, and then they were going to once again start to make their own Fox shotguns here in the US like they used to do.  Only the new Fox shotguns were supposed to be a bit nicer in fit and finish.

I used to like the old Savage Fox side by sides.

I have seen some imported Russian double barrels under the Stevens name at Walmart about 2-3 months ago.
Pretty nice too.
