just found an original production detonics combatmaster and will send out payment for it friday. Anyone have any experience with them.

I've never handled or fired one Lloyd, but it really looks like that hammer and no grip tang would be a real biter!  Hope you enjoy it!  I know they are all stainless and that makes them heavy for carry, I prefer an aluminum frame to keep the weight down.  You know, if you and I keep bringing all these 1911's to the single action shoot, they may run us out of town!  Enjoy that new gun.  44 Man
