well we dont use drags, but some of my buddies use 8' of chain on their drags. we use 8" of chain on our coyote traps w/ 2 swivels and a double stake rig. then we have a 18-20" chain w/ 3 swivels and a shock spring w/ a double stake rig. for coons, fox, mink we use bout a foot of chain w/ 2 swivesl and a shock spring w/ a double stake rig.
we dont use drags cause i dont like to hunt my animals twice.
