Sako A5-375 Weatherby Mag. Bolt Stuck.

I traded for a Sako A5 Weatherby Mag and took it to the range and fired some 375 H&H mag rounds through it to get some fire formed brass and on the 12th shot the bolt locked up and can't get the thing to open. The rounds i fired were factory rounds and the brass looked good with no signs of pressure or primers that looked like there was a problem. I have taken the action out of the stock removed the trigger asmbly and done every thing i can think of with no positive results so far. I have never had any expereience with this model sako so i am in the dark as what to do. Any help would be appreciated......Thanks.......Joe..........

I would be guessing but a case head may have split or seperated during your fireforming operation and the sako extractor is refusing to turn loose.  It's also possible a case split and the split fused the case to the chamber wall and the extraactor caan't break it loose. My not have produced unusually high pressures.... still the only solution I can think of is to force the bolt to open using a large nonmarring ruber mallot.

Well Gents all it took was some one that knew the actons of the Sako Rifles to solve the problem. The guide on the side of the bolt popped a little slide pin which  locked the bolt. He took a small punch and slid the bolt out with out any problem. He is going put a pin in the bolt guide which will  Aleaviate the problem. He has done the same thing on his 416 Rem. and it has never done it again. A great big thanks to Nobade & Charlie. Thanks to all who responded     ............Joe...........
