heres a pic of the howitzer, after heat treating, it was a nice yellow-brass,
but darkened to an antuqe brass, oh well,

and ya i messed up welding the trunions, even with the spray,

so im goung to fill in with bondo, and paint the band between them black.

maybe the whole cannon,,,grrrr

PIX look good! Some minor defects are par for the course when starting - you'll look back years from now and know how to do it differently.

Your first two look LOTS better than MY first two!
