You said that you're going to start reloading--did you mean, for these cartridges, or did you mean, you've never done it before and are beginning the hobby? If the latter, I strongly recommend you get a manual by one of the big components manufacturers and read the section on technique completely. The Hornady, Sierra, Hodgdon, speer and lyman manuals would all be good ones.
I have a UL hornet it likes 12.1 grains of lilgun behind the HDY 35 vmax in NEW winchester cases. I use WLR primers for this load.
I worked up this load in may in preparation for this years varmint hunt, having jus aquired it in april. I don't know how much more powder I'll need in fireformed, neck-sized cases.
I tried IMR 4227 first since I've had great success using it in my 218 BEE and 22 Jet, but it the little hornet didn't like it.
This is a near max load with very little space left in the case.
