Remington 7600 stock question
« on: March 28, 2006, 03:51:07 PM »
I've been thinking of buying a Remington 7600 pump rifle in .308 Winchester, with the synthetic stock. I like the rifle, but I prefer iron sights and the factory stock has a comb that is too high for me to comfortably get my head down where I want it when using iron sights.
Does anyone know if the synthetic stock from Remington 870 or 1100 will work on a 7600? Both appear to be very similar to the 7600 stock, don't have a high comb, and I can get either one very inexpensively.
Thanx.
Dave

dz86,
Make sure you know which stock you need as the 20guage comes in two sizes, one for the 12ga frame and one for the small 20guage.  I don't know which would fit the 7600.  If you find out let me know.

Thank you,
