Had our monthly club shoot today and had a clean shoot going all the way to the 6th and final stage. Cleaned the pistol targets, cleaned the rifle targets, and missed the first shotgun target on a bank of 4. Managed to squeek by with a first in the Black powder category, but talk about letting the wind out of my sails. RR

:D River Runner, I make it a point of missing the very first target of the day, that way I don't have to put up with all that nervousness!! :-D  :-D .Then I miss a whole bunch more just to make sure!!

CR, I've heard some folks try to hit them. That clanking noise bothers me so I just won't put up with it. Don't have to worry about bounce backs either.

Well being well informed prior to my first match by some of the good pards on here I was aware of a phenomenon called Stealth Bullets. Prior to going to the shoot I joined the Stealth Bullet Society. So I shoot all matches clean and never miss. When you don't hear the clank it isn't a miss but just one of those stealth bullets sneaked in. It's all an experiment, really it is. I shot them all clean. Trust me.  :eek:
