S&W 646????
« on: January 25, 2004, 04:25:09 PM »
Just wondered if any of you know much about this new gun. A buddy of mine just got one, or should I say his wife did. It is a SS revolver  model 646,chambered in 40 S&W, and has a Titanium cylinder. It has a 3 7/8” barrel. I have found very little about this gun on the net, it isn't even listed on the S&W web site. We know it is a limited run gun, have heard as little as 900 guns up to around 10,000. It is being produced by the performance center, that explains it excellent out of the box shooting. Comes with a nice SS lock box, 6 full moon clips, Houge gripper grips, and a small tool kit.

From what my buddy has told me this is an awesome lil gun to shoot. I have handled the gun and it has a great balance and feel to it. (can’t wait to get some nice weather to shoot it) ANY information would be nice!

Thanks,
IATRKYHNTR

Have you asked on the Smith&Wesson forum?

Found a lil more info on it in the S&W forum ,thanks for the idea stormin29. It's true that only 900 of these have been made, they how ever are not being produced by the performance center. The 646PC was made by the PC till recently. This is a new model 646M. Still sounds like a fun lil gun to me.
