Ok I have my new barrel fitted to the new national match bushing with the 18# recoil spring with the full length guide rod and its good to go.
Now I want to tighten up my slide to the frame fit on my used 1911. My next step I just ordered the swage punches from brownells for doing this. They make some sort of "X" clamp setup for doing the slide too I think its for closing up the slide but i'm not sure. Has anyone used this "X" clamp?
